Attend a live training session
Riparian 101 & 102 sessions are held 2-3 times per year. They are hosted on Zoom and listed on Eventbrite.
The next upcoming round of live trainings will be hosted in Fall 2026. They will be posted here when sign up becomes available.

Presentations can be delivered upon request by emailing contact@riparian.info. This includes:

Presentations about the portal (can include general riparian ecology) for a group or organization.

Riparian 102 training for those who work with riparian areas and would like to have login access.
Virtual options available nationwide, in-person options available to those in the Edmonton region.
Recorded Training Sessions

Riparian 101 (Public)
Riparian 101 is for anyone wanting to learn more about the Riparian Web Portal. It is also a pre-requisite for Riparian 102 training which is need to gain login access.

Riparian 102 (Work with Riparian)
Riparian 102 is for those who work with riparian areas such as land trusts, municipalities, lake stewardship groups, and other riparian conservation/restoration organizations. After this training, login access will be given to users so they can upload projects and see additional data layers.
