The hobby of bird watching relies heavily on good bird identification skills, along with some knowledge of bird behaviors and distribution. However, there's a lot more to these fascinating animals than just simply images through binoculars, illustrations in a field guide, and ticks on a page. In this presentation we'll explore the science of ornithology beyond the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in birding and better understand the biology of the animals we spend so much time observing and enjoying.
